Morrigan owns me.

I am hers/theirs. It’s always been this way, although I’ve been ignorant of the truth, sometimes willfully, over the years. No one has accused me of being all that bright. Some of us come to the truth quicker than others and I tend to tread the winding side branches of the main road, and it took many times returning to that highway to realize the dynamics of the situation. one day i will fall
off the edge
of the world

my tumble
into the void

nor my smile

i am nothing/

just an autumn leaf
in winter streams
drifting from
current to eddy
current again
no strength
to surface if
pulled under
turbulent waters
again

my friend

casting for spells/

do you know a spell
oh, wanderer
that will transmigrate
this broken man?
mold him into something
worth a single
copper coin?

the sun rises ruddy in
the copper eastern march
