Very similar to the flavor of oolong. Not as grassy as some green teas, not quite as nutty as oolongs can taste.
Pu-erhs can sometimes have almost a smoky taste like whiskey if you want a strongly fermented tea. One I used to get had a similar sensation as using a smoky camphor or mentholated rub. Loved that when I was “under the weather”. Reminded me of a fishermen’s wharf snuff.
Oh thank you for the precision! We will try it next batch of tea we get in delivery from Tealyra… I like less grassy stuff. We had jasmin and green tea, and it tasted like Popeye armspit 😁😅

Mostly American Crow variety around here, with the rare raven popping up now and again.

🙂! There’s only the one Raven on my radar!! Crows, rooks, magpies and the odd Jay round by us. Helps to be close to a fairly quiet railway though.
