Yeah, scary the speed in which we become mortally attached to things.

To be fair, society tends to glom onto something and make it a norm by which it is hard to function within the society if you don’t also glom onto the same.

This is very true, in the UK we now have an online system for repeat medical prescriptions, plus phot ID in order to vote. Ok for most but I do have sympathy, especially for older people, for whom tech is an alien world. As you say, life becomes challenging if you don’t buy in to the system.
