we stormed the walls and palisades of your capital hill drugstore, cowboy in velvet drag firing hot lead commentary from the hip, blitzing the aisles with leaflets and angst calling it guerilla poetry applause, pitying shaken heads nervous laughter as we rode into the sunset before you could ask us to leave your no-horse town
i’ve been to a no-horse town. there were no horse there. 😉

Although I know it is hard to believe, they were especially rare at the pharmacies back in those days.
