Who knows what drives my dreams?
I apparently bought a farmhouse, sight unseen, that needed some TLC on the outside, but was stunningly thought out and cared for on the inside, with lofts and plenty of airy spaces. A very small creek ran adjacent and an enclosed porch addition had been built over the running water, which babbled underneath. I had concerns about the proximity because of the basement, but not enough to back out, apparently.
The exterior needed help. Fascia and soffits were in dire need of replacement, and it needed a coat of paint.
Weird that the couple moving out didn’t bat an eye and me wandering through it uninvited…
You sold me at “lofts and plenty of airy spaces”—sounds pretty perfect. Maybe someday you’ll find it.

Perhaps. Otherwise there are always dreams.
