down by the river

paint me cyanic black
face down the river
carries me home
to side pierced lands
crested in snow
the rushes rising
pine needles
sewing chill air

scarlet lips
bright as blood
taste you copper in
a kiss i surrender
everything for
slender times between
mending fine
stitch me
