i marionette i
broken wires varnish
dancing shadows
you didn't know
the woodwind blows
through

tangled & sworn
worn polished smooth
i marionette i
dancing in her loom

caught
in
amber
with barbed wire smiles

i spy with my eye
mistborn ticktock spiders
crawling through my
eye

  1. Ohh! Interesting! I created “jadis” a character for a DnD game that used a puppet to kill his enemy… more like a serial killer duo. The game never came to fruition, but was fun nonetheless.

That splendid poem gave me that feeling again. Thank you 🖤🖤🖤

    1. That sounds like the stuff we used to come up with in the early DnD days. Storytelling was more important than rules and so we came up with fun things like that.

I’m glad my poem brought back those feelings. 💙🖤💙
