sleep, oh! sleep
poppy in field scarlet
slumber me careless
in lengthening twilight
stretched shadows the
tall men coming through
the corn fields and rye
in their derby hats
singing, arms stretched so
drawing fog rising behind
and that one black crow
bidding farewell to
a mustard sun fallen
