the world tilts
just far enough
so feet
tangle trip drunk

knives unsheath
cold iron head
& sirens
dopplershiver
away

this wellspring still
draws aching
yet
blackened skies
grey

This, for me, is quite a harrowing read reflecting the negative effect of humanity on the Earth…and the yearning of those who still appreciate it.
