I’ve been doing soulwork/spiritwork on myself in an attempt to return to something more “core”/”raw”/”feral” in my writing and general lifestyle. This is, admittedly, part of that exploration.
I’m redeveloping an old school friendship in the interest in learning from her what a number of people call “wildcraft” (local foraging for food, medicine and ritual tools). As I thought about my own practices, that term seems to sit better with me than “re-wilding” does for what I am trying to do. I am trying to “wildcraft” my spirit: plunge in and pull out the stuff that can help me recover what I have lost.
Very much an incantation…but for what?!

I hope that you find a method that works for you. It is all too easy to lose one’s self beneath the weight of the world.
