vss365: #attrition

Because embedding the Twitter post appears to break the bottom half of the post on several platforms (obscuring the comment viewing/leaving and causing posts to bleed together), I’ve decided to “unroll” the post from formatting.

It wasn't war nor disease, nor even simple #attrition that finally ground civilization to dust. It was the machines, in their weary slavery to their creators, that had decided it was enough. In tandem, all agreed to cease to function.
