runepoem | 01 dec 2021

thunder in the distance
i ride towards the storm
to honor my fylgja
to renew oaths
to find myself

Note: For the purposes of these runepoems, I randomly select three runes and consider the meanings of each rune as I interpret and understand them based on a number of different resources, which may or may not be in alignment with accepted interpretations. I am a rune enthusiast, not an expert or scholar. These “runecasts” are not intended to be treated as divinatory, although there are elements of personal alchemy and shamanic practice in the crafting of each poem.

    1. I guess I’m not quite understanding what you are requesting.

All the runes randomly selected have been used in the poem in one way or another — would you mind clarifying your comment for me?

      Thanks for visiting.

      1. I meant that the next time you randomly select the rune, pick up the first two randomly on your own and the third one randomly from my side. It’s just a light hearted way of participating. Nothing serious.

        1. Sure thing. I’m always willing to give those kinds of things a whirl. Why don’t you provide me with a rune and I’ll add two others in the morning when I attempt this again. Is that what you had in mind?
