    • I don’t think I intended to evoke emotion… More, I was trying to roughly capture a Taliesin-ish storytelling feel with portmanteaus with a focus on pulling someone into the rhythms and out of their heads.

      For a long time now (decades), I’ve argued that one of the functions of poetry was to create language, not just utilize what exists already. While this is an extreme exploration of that idea, it was meant as an experiment to see what could be broken and then reassembled.
