bury me in the hollow tree
cover me with earth
my eyes shutter blinds
winter me with filth
rot rot rot rot decay
consumes me
transforms me
shed face and become
feast for the hrafnagud

take this eye
and another, will you?
sing your valgaldr
and force the soil
from this stoppered mouth
-- you talk too much, hush
my conspiracy-plotting friend
thrust your spearhead
through and through
i recall a time when it
pleased you to and the peat--
shush, now, let me ask
are you broken yet so
that i can rebuild you again

i am fragments
mind body soul
i am just drybone
dust to the core

i bid you, then... come
and his kiss of breath fills
pierces me, thrusts
rips me, makes me weep
in ecstatic agony
lifts like a lover
and carries to glide
risen
his thought on the wing
