Goal setting

I think I need to set some goals.

I find myself trapped on repeat. Wake up, shower, feed cats, eat, work, lunch, feed cats, possible quick nap because I don’t know how to sleep solidly at night, pick up twins, cook dinner, eat, baths for the kids, feed cats, bedtime for kids, do writing or playing or weaving or watching for maybe 90 minutes, try to sleep while ignoring chronic pain.

Rinse. Repeat.

I need to change it up. This shit depresses me.

So, think I’m going to add a return to biking in. Make that sonofabitch fit in. Weather is not an obstacle any longer. And my only excuse is that I’m tired. Like all the time.

Consider unplugging more. I spend an inordinate amount of time news scrolling and reading WordPress posts.

Consider getting the new ReMarkable 2 (writable e-paper device, feels damned close to real paper). Write more offline and less online.

Get out of the house and find a new coffee shop to haunt. Spend at least a few hours a week outside the home either writing, reading offline or biking.

Quit buying games. Almost all that I’ve bought the past few years have been largely disappointments.

Let’s see how that goes…
