nightfall/

smoke a cigarette
as the day burns low
waiting, dodging raindrops
to skipdance to otherside
to watch the cafe girl
reading cheap magazines
through fogsteamed window pictures
framed in lipstick love
waiting, a vampire on my neck
a hand in pocket, chilled
warming against groin
linger fingers, stopstroke
lamplight dreaming
lust with a knife
cutting the night
