A number of gurus are right, you know.
Most books on spiritual matters are, at best, signposts. Most of them are counterproductive distractions. The more I read, the more I distrust self-proclaimed authorities with dollar signs in their eyes. If what they share is with the paper it is printed on, they’d go out of their way to give it away.
But no. These solicitors of the spiritual often charge higher prices than books of fiction with less content of dubious quality.
Read them for insight, if it helps.
Then burn and forget what you’ve read as the words’ ashes float away on the wind.
